Thornycroft M4 engine was created by Ian B
I have acquired a 30hp Thornycroft M4 engine with radiator made in 1920. I would like to set it up as a demonstration engine. It is missing a water pump. Any clues where I might find something as rare as this?

Yes it did.
Her are a couple of photos. One shows the general layout of the engine. The water pump is attached to the front cylinder block. The other shows what it looks like.

Contact the Goslings hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?13514-...rnycroft-restoration as they built a new water pump onion a couple of years ago.

They may still have the buck to cast a new one.

They have done an incredible job on restoring their old Thorny.
