Hi Overnight would any of the Spornes Macks in the photos have your signature detail on the Silvafros work

Great pics from Peter Ramsey and Werkhorse.
Bill Abbott.s F Model. Prior to the F model Bill Abbott from Dapto had a LPS 1418 Mercedes Benz and a single drive with pusher axle R model Mack that I recall seeing on its side about 2 kilometers south of Bills yard . Before rolling on to its side it was heading up hill and around a corner. So close to home .
Bill later had at least 1 cabover Kenworth hauling a LPG tanker from Western Australia to CIG Pt Kembla.

E. Cummings from Douglas Park R model. Cummings had earthmoving equipement and moved mining equipement.
Cleary Bros restored into their colors a NR Mack that belonged to E. Cummings.
The son Ken took over the business and his R700 in the same colors as the photo has also been restored by Tony Champion in Queensland.
Great to see photos that brings back memories, like the photos of Spornes trucks.

The photo of the Panucci Acco tanker, if memory serves me correctly it was powered by a 9 and threepence cummins and the driver was either Dave Markem or Bob Mearley . they were Brunno's answer to Knight's quick tankers LOL

I know I brought my copy at a truck show , probably at Yennora and I still have it , but no record player.
The Mack on the album cover ,painted in MHP's colors belonged to Alan Lever from Wollongong and his wife repurchased it about 2006 and without Alan knowing his wife Joy and some of Alan's friends restored to look the same as it did on the record cover. In its working life it had a V8 GM and Roadranger fitted by the next owner . I think Ray Hutcherson. Last year it had a Mack Motor and gearbox fitted. It is often seen at truck shows and the Illawarra Convoy for kids.
