Greetings. The photos come out alright I reckon for using the phone camera. Some of the photos may have been posted before- I know for certain that the R model Mack has- there was an instamatic photo of it somewhere back in the pages- If you compare photos you'll see a roof mounted air-con and more spot lights and Cat mudflaps have been added to the T &D Transport Mack. The Newbridge N series Volvo was taken at the Truro Hotel in 1975. The W model K-W was a Colin Hamp from Alice Springs and the purple M A N was N & J Dunk from Narrellan taken in 1976- xspanrman may be able to correct me if I've gotten it wrong. I wouldn't know how many photos have been posted since this page was started by Werk but I reckon it has to be near a 1000 or so. I'll sift through Nifty's albums again and select some collectors' items- an Autocar comes to mind so don't go rushing off now and booking yourselves a cruise to the sub-continent. Next time.

I grew up, or tried to, in Birrong and used to see that W.J George truck all the time from Regents Park

That's a Classical Aussie Truck right there Cobba.
I've been looking At a few Times Pretty sure It's a 555 powered 2150A (or B ) I reckon the 3070 had a bigger grill than That...

Yep, 3070 grill went all the way across and had 3070 in the bottom left corner. Drove a few with single drive.

Just going by the battery box, air intake, exhaust and it's mount, i'm sure it's a 3070A with a 903. The 3070B had the wider C series grille.
