Thanks guys, all 5 rigs are set up for tarped loads.
These photos are forwarded by Overlander for posting,
so all credit go to him and his mate Nev.
Brings back memories of sore hands, heavy tarps, wet
ropes and hard yakka. Pride in a neat job.

PaulFH. If I had a dollar for every tarp rope I tied I think I might be a millionaire, sore hands & callouses were part & parcel the game, Aload of passenger tyres would be a few feet above the gates when leaving Sydney & by the time you arrived in Melbourne the load would be nearly gate high, wet nights were a bugger the ropes would really cut into your hands MEMORIES

Greetings. I reckon this will be the last lot for this year, but we'll see how it goes. That red & green K model was a Frank Lovell from Colambally, the green & white day cab SAR was a RW & SK Mcdonald from Mt Gambier, the yellow $ white SAR a Mr Bob Munnerly from Darlington Point, the Volvo was a Mackay Trans from Adelaide and the rest either I can't remember or the owner's name is on the cab door. The Collins SAR was taken at a drag meet here in Adelaide. well. Virginia and it would be interesting to know if the Butterbox is still kicking about. Anyways, a merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all and thanks again Paul for helping out with posting these photos and other stuff- much appreciated, Pete
