Paul re the load of hay sometimes stacked it like that with the different width/depth of the bales you would get more interlocking between layers but by the look of that hay/stubble it either needed to be baled a lot tighter or when there was a bit of dew on it in saying that cereal hay is slippery $#!t to cart

Greetings. Had a download with Nev yesterday returning photo albums and borrowing 2 more of Australian trucks and one from one of his safaris to USA. Also uncovered some forgotten about instamatics & SLR photos so when i get to the end of album 5 photos I'll process them before easing into album 6. Enjoy, Pete

Awesome pics, as always! Love them..
The only bad part is, that as a photographer back in the day, everyone would have taken pics of good looking, big trucks, the flasher the better.
Which meant old bangers like mine never got a photo becuase they were old bombs, and they looked like worn out dirty old workhorses.
And you wouldn't waste a pic in those days, they were epensive after all, dammit!
Sigh.
Cheers!
Rich

Prodrive, you are correct saying taking photos back when I stated taking them was a costly hobby being that I only earnt a few bob doing seasonal work during the school holidays and searching the bins in Nuri main street for Coke bottles to cash in. Then when I started work after finishing school a whole new world opened up and yeah I did get a bit pickie. Plus operators started moving with the times with more choices available and the horsepower increased and so on and so forth. Commer knockers & Butterboxes didn't get a look in. Here's one from '72 I'd reckon. Pete
