Citroen (possibly Light 15), Morris PV van, Morris Minor either 55, 56 or 1000 (with one-piece windscreen)
Holden FC, Holden FJ, Austin A40.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Volkswagen type 1 (beetle, left) and type 3 (right). The others are too distant.

The building on the right of the second picture is/was the South Melbourne Technical School. It is just to the left (out of sight) in the first pic.

Been there, done that.

180519Sa Metro Twitter - Flinders St yards. I'm trying to date this one by the two 'modern' cars in the foreground. I'm going for late 1940s, but can't get make/model for either. I'd plump for Willys for the second.
