Hi folks
Have just had inner seal replaced on the hub and ready to put back on.
Not sure of what tension to put on the inner nut. Do I do up until tight then back off 1/4 turn?
Thanks in advance
Ash

No Sure about the Eaton. My rockwell is do up to 200Ft.lb to seat the bearing and seal and then back off a turn. Do up to 50ft.lb and then back off 1/4 turn. Do this while turning the hub.

Ash man
gudday m8

we normally put the bearing in the hub then the seal make sure the axle housing where the seal sits
is smooth and with a leading edge for the seal slides on.... keep turning the hub as U do up the nut
we normally do m F tight then back off enuff to make it easy to turn 1/8 - 3/8 of turn back off sounds bout right
