Could be one of these, a Reo Safety Bus from the late thirties.
I think the bit down the middle of the grille in Rod's pic could have been added by the coachbuilder.

Don't think so, the underside of the top of the grill is not as curved as the one in the pic and the bonnet lines are different.
Kind of agree the centre section of the grill could be custom.
Federals look similar (bar the wheels) and so do some of the pommie units

Flutes on the top of the grille look like Daimler, and the script on the nameplate on the side of the bonnet looks like Daimler with a line over the top of the D stretching over to the R., which is how their script used to be.

Hi,

I have been looking at this and thinking it could be a Fargo too, but the 'custom' grille stopped me suggesting it. This is a Fargo that lives in my backyard from a similar angle for comparison.

I think the guards, bumper, and badge on top of the grille are a match for the bus. This is a 1934 Fargo.

Almost certainly a 1935 Fargo. Looks to be their trademark grille dressing.

Here are 1935, 36 and 37 trucks.

Thank you everyone ... I'd say 35-36 Fargo then.... About the only make I couldn't think of .... They had 2 Lend lease Chev's too, a Maple Leaf, a Federal, the Inter, OB Bedfords (both bonneted and cab forward) .... Certainly a very mixed fleet.
