A Drive Down Market Street 1906

This is a remarkable movie of a drive down Market Street in San Francisco in 1906. Unbelievably clear vision of the seemingly random traffic of all types. Considering it is 113 years ago and new "high speed" cars were mixing with people, horses and trams they seem very relaxed about collisions and death.

See a few of Swishy's fore- fathers there with the heavy haulage. Not many cars with numberplates, but on with "4867" passes the tram about 6-8 times during the movie.
