Great clear photo. What truck? This DeHavilland Moth had what might be called a "colourful" history.

The aircraft was also put in a spin 15/12/30 and crashed into mangroves north of the Barron River near Stratford Bridge QLD. Pilot and passenger injured. Registered VH-UOK 18/06/31 to 22/07/40. Failed to recover from a dive 09/10/38 and crashed. The pilot and passenger were killed. Impressed into RAAF Service 22/07/40 as RAAF Serial No. "A7-103". 3 EFTS (22/07/40), 1 EFTS (2/12/40) Crashed on landing 22/01/41 at Parafield. To spares 24/02/41.

Although your Studebaker is obviously an earlier model it could be a choice. I still like International because of the single line name badge..

No - Just had a good look and Internationals had vertical slots in the side panels.

All the 35/36 Diamond T photos (they went much rounder after that) have distinctive removable bonnet side panels.

Here is something similar, still does not look right to me - Studebaker. Bonnet too square and side slots with only one short opening?

I think you are there. Most of the photos are of American trucks. The Australian built bodies - Holdens, Richards etc - whoever made the Studebakers, may well have changed small features to fit their production methods.

********!!! Definitely a Studebaker. Just had a 15 year old wizard bring up the name on some sort of app or program that clears photos.
