Seed, think your right, maybe had a cupla Spicer boxes in it, IF same one I saw, was parked in a yard at Yass for long time, R/H side of highway between Yass River bridge and where the old rail line crossed just before gasoline alley. Dave

MHP Carrying Company Wollongong NR Mack, D? series Bedford cab retained the Mack motor, and Cleary Bros Pt Kembla (P Monaghan photo) had a 6-71 GM motor. There was a workshop in Sydney that fitted the Bedford cab's to NR Macks ,fitted larger engines and converted them to right hand drive.

That Roy Behn's Bedford/Mack was credited to Grant Stack.
That would nearly have to be Frank Stacks son wouldn't it?
Frank drove for both Behn's and PCT amongst others.

There was a story on Roy Behns Bedmacks here a few years ago...........
......,NR Mack chassis and rear end , 4x4 spicer box , 250 Cummins...........
I did an in frame overhaul on one when i worked at Cummins Lansvale....
The cab was fixed so ,half the work was outside , half inside..........
Yeah didnt make for easy access , but was still accomplished . .......
In all, not a bad unit for the time..........

I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.
