I have a vague memory of reading an article in Truck & Bus Magazine many years ago on the Nairn Brothers middle east transport operation. I remember the the Restored Cars feature.

Paul, did you notice on your 'borrow picture' the front right hand tyre on the inside that it has a bad wheel cylinder leak. Hope they fixed it before driving off. If not there is always a gearbox to use along with the steering wheel.

Cobba, more likely to be an oil leak from the drive hub I would say.

Its a Timken front axle ,and they were bad for leaking oil from the CV joint and the hub seals .........both seals were only felt .........very common to have the tyres and front brake drums plastered in thick gear oil.
