The K Series Dodges in Australia were sold in a very limited number and were replaced with the Dodge Fuso. MHP Wollongong also had one of the K Series Dodges pulling a tri axle flat top trailer. It is a shame the last photo is not clearer. This Dodge belonged to A. Pittman Sydney.

What engine in the ATK900 at the truck show pic......I dont know, but it may be a V8 Cummins.......Chrysler UK did a deal with Cummins to build a factory to make the small Vs ......was part of what sent Chrysler UK broke.........as we all know ,the small V8s wernt no good, and the V6s cost twice as much as a Perkins 354

JOHN.K I have 2 spec sheets for the AKT 900- one has a 6v53, the other a 6v71. Truck show pic I reckon is the 6v71. Pete.

I might be missing something here but I'm sure Australia went decimal on the 14th Feb 1966 but the fuel tank capacity is in Gallons and the axle ratings are in pounds. Pete

That was dollars and cents...decimal currency.........I couldnt say when fuel went to litres..about 1968 maybe......I do recall the fuss when a shop had the inches and feet ruler snatched off the counter and broken in half by some petty government official.
