It is a Leyland Comet, and the Comet badge on the bonnet side shines out. haven't heard of their being a 4wd Comet but not to say it didn't happen.

hi I have this picture,which I think has 1941 Austin K2Y Ambulance,WD No. A1205113, AMF No. 76127/50221,open to arguement.the prportions are right for the body, and the Red cross can be seen on one rear door. the picture shows Cooma Camp, But I cannot get it to down load here, But google it I will try at another time.
Did they have Two Austins? reports say not.
