927 were referred to as super 250 there were about the same on the road as turbo 320, most broke the crankshaft, there maybe as few as three still running the 927 crank in the world, the oringal crankshaft had 1/4'' longer stroke and shorter rods with a four bolt rods, they were better in rail motors and generators with set rev's, a prerunner to the 15liter Cummins of today, the only difference to the 855 is the big oil cooler with a 6bolt front mount and the 4bolt rods, you can pick the ones that have been rebuilt as 855 as they will still have the 6 bolt oil cooler, mine has a turbo and after cooler and you need a bloody good 15liter to catch it. It's about 550hp or a little better
