Identification please - Arrol-Johnston

Thanks to all who helped with this identification. I had noticed the writing on the tappet cover but even after magnification I could not read it so thanks to 180wannabe (Brett) who was able to do this. Also good to see a what a restored Arrol-Johnson looks like from Lang's photo. No idea what happened to the vehicle in my photos and can't recall the location back then.

Arrol Johnston found at Cassilis 1966. This was later found to be a 1916 model. Electric start, electric lights, 4 wheel brakes, sanky benson wheels, 20 years ahead of its time. Bought by Ron Hartshorne, the bloke who made gates, loading racks, tyre carriers and step tanks next door to Mayne Nicks on Burrows Rd Alexandria in the 1960's

Looks a lot newer than 1916. This is 1920's.

It looks like they did not have that flat radiator until into the 20's. Here is the model that went 1915-21
