Mack Identification help required

I'm trying to find information on my husband Mack truck needing to know year ect
I have a chassis no: EF 1 S 5063 I'm looking to see what this means
Any help would be great

If it was Australian delivered the chassis number was used for id not the serial number

Im not sure how far back this system went

Or write to the Mack Museum in Allentown USA with your details and they will send you the build sheet

Will be a very rare truck here in Australia.. They were built between 1938 & 1951..
As Paul as suggested, Ask the Mack Museum...
