I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
These show the days when the average person did not have a car, or as the English call them,
"a Motor."
Over a hundred years ago, the Labour Party announced that "The working man cannot afford a car".
To see the way they reduce speed limits instead of repairing roads, in Labour States such as Victoria anyway, you would be excused for thinking they still believe it.
