Morris, if NSW reduced speed limits because of bad road conditions you would not get out of low gear.

Mack built a few of these up here in the States.. Russ Nuss and Gary Mahan had a late teens AC Bulldog Mack, about 12 to 15 passenger, one restored at the ATCA Macungie show a few years ago, but I can Not find a picture of it.. Of course in the 30's White motor built the Glacier and Yellowstone Natl Park tour busses.

In order that the labour of centuries past may not be in vain during the centuries to come... D. Did
I guess we've come along way.
We've been house sitting in Ettalong beach NSW (from Wang) for the last 5 weeks so didn't bring a vehicle with us. Sleeper XPT to $ydney then interurban train to Woy Woy then bus to Ettalong.
2 days as it is.
Imagine how long it took back when we had steam, 2 rail gauges, open top road buses and no doubt a ferry crossing on the Hawkesbury just to get to the Central Coast.
Trip to The Entrance (car and truck show) today and you guessed it 2 buses. The Opal card is getting a good workout here.
bus museum pics.

Try to search the ATCA Double Clutch magazine as I know they had pictures of it.

roKWIZ, if you have time visit the bus museum in Sydney. Open on a certain Sunday each month or maybe each week. Train to Town Hall then free museum bus to museum. Unbelievable display.

Pretty sure my Wife's family would have ridden on the Riley bus. They had a house at Patonga from 1940'ísh to 1986.
If they didn't get there by ferry from Brooklyn it was the bus and train.
I can remember going to my Grandmother's in Budgewoi and changing trains at Hornsby to the steam train then Gosford to the rail motor to Wyong, then a Seargent's bus to Budgewoi via Toukley. Half a day to do what now takes about an hour.
