Found the sales brochure. Early Holden utes have been popular with restorers for many years.

Correct Lang, but males never really grow up and stop doing silly stuff
The money is the thing I can't understand, I will never get how they just blow the amount of money on a burnout
I'm just lame I guess

This appears to be a Melbourne scene. A row of Holden taxis, and a Zephyr or Consul taxi is going past. The red truck, maybe a Ford ? The truck is close behind a Victorian Police Holden ute. These police utes usually had a loud speaker on the roof.

The truck appears to have the Olympic rings on board, so I expect the photo was taken just before the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

From the way the pedestrians are turning their heads it might be the moment the truck ran up the bum of the police car?

The bloke in front of the Quick Service shop thought the bang came from overhead.

I think the truck and the Police Ute were just waiting for the crane to come and lift the rings into place. The Cop being there to allow the truck to double park and stop pedestrians and traffic when lifting was happening. The person looking up appears to be a teenager, maybe the crane is already there and working on the mounting framework.
