This could be the answer.

I just picked my wife up at the pool after her aqua-aerobics. Looking at the other members of the class I believe these might be giant noodles being delivered to the pool for the fat ladies doing their water dancing lessons.

I found a 114 page long test report on a Army Holden. The report can  be downloaded from the naa Web site.

Looks like the testing people gave this army Holden a real hard time . The engine was stripped down and inspected.

There are many pics of the first Holden utes under construction at the GM-H factory in the SA library. Here are a few. Didn't know they used caulking guns back then.
