I don't mind heights but I would struggle to stand on the step ladder on a platform like that fella
My bum would be working overtime and my toes would be fully curled into my shoes

Bombardier HEC P101 deep in muddy water, Hydro-Electric Commission expedition by Bombardier to the Serpentine River, Tasmania, 1961 [picture] / Russ Ashton
( BOMBARDIER was a Canadian Tracked vehicle ? )
Thank you Fighting Rust for searching and posting these wonderful pictures.
Yes Bombardier was, and as far as I know, Still is a maker of tracked vehicles. Mainly the personal entertainment 2 person tracked sled that we in North America know as a snowmobile. The also make equipment for maintainence and rescue at ski resorts and some remote electrical power line work in snowed in areas.

Bombardier is a huge company with a $12 billion annual income. They have a finger in many pies including building Airbus 220 and the fabulous Challenger business jet so beloved of film stars, Saudi princes and oligarch's. They build trains and numerous military vehicles as well. All started with a jet-ski back in the 60's.
