Hi All, Expressing interest to see if we could launch this thread to show the history, events, life and times of a group of Iconic Companies that primarily used the Australian delivered RHD Peterbilts during the 60's through the 70's and into the early eighties (1982) when they were then phased out after the takeover by Kingston Heavy Haulage. They used an array of gear and it was not confined to Paccar alone. :)

Hi Jimbo and all, Yes, all shots are relevant and appreciated. Thank you and please keep them coming. These trucks ran from 64 to 82 under three banners and Copper City Transport being formed along the way. I dont know of any fleets running trucks for 18 years, but thats what happened with some of the trucks involved within the fleet. The truck above is Truck 7 #19422, with the NTC335 later in its life in PCT Road Lines livery which was regarded as Pride of the Fleet. Anything we can throw at this thread will surely surprise others, These men were Pioneers of the time and ran a diverse operation through all the mainland states carrying all kinds of freight. I am only a contributor and hoping there is enough material, photos, newspaper clips etc out there that we can paint a picture and produce a Legacy of their achievements. If that sounds correct!
I think any assistance with this would be a job well done regarding All involved and their Equipment..
