Truck 7 #19422 at Cannington's Depot Silverwater Rd Auburn NSW

Truck 7 became a cancelled order and arrived in plain form, fitted with single air horn, marker lights, square fenders and on spiders. It became part of the Cannington fleet from new and went into service 16 April 1966. It received all the bells and whistles and a bunk and was painted to match Truck 6's livery.
Vintage Caterpillar Yellow and Alaskan White.

As mentioned, There is an array of gear amongst the fleet and here is one for the Dodge Boys, a really clean and straight late 60's 760 Dodge Table Top and Red. Shame they couldnt get a clear shot of it with those trucks parked there. ;D

Here is the three major players in the fleet being that they were there for the whole journey of time from the early days till the end in 1982. They would encounter big jobs doing the heavy lifts. Choice would be 7, 6 then 4.

L. Truck 7. 351ST #19422, 335 Cummins, 8016-3B, SQDD 5.78:1

M. Truck 4. 351A #16474, NH250 Cummins, 8016-5B, SQHD 5.83:1

R. Truck6. 351ST #17934, 1673B CAT, 8016-3A, SQDD 6.44:1

Truck 4 in the center was owned new by Nigel Holt from Cowra and did a fair share of hard work supplying the Gas Fields and working in the west until being purchased for Cannington. It appears to have been an interesting time when you look at a group of trucks dressed to this level outside the States and in the mid 60's.

Notice the Straight Red 760 Dodge to the left. ;D

Here is a rear shot of Truck 7 without the bunk which most likely says it was added later as the truck looks fairly new in this shot.

Detective may be able to help here because I think he has some front and or 3/4 shots of this truck. (Same bunch a pics)

From memory I don't think it was sign written, or it may have been hidden by the air cleaner and the exhaust in this shot. Another point is that its not lined & scrolled at this stage.

Here is the PCT Bedford with Low Loader, I'm sure it wll bring some relief for some.
With the conversation swinging onto KR Kevin Russell the other day on the Donaclone post and his SAR KW.
You should notice his Deutz at the right rear of the yard.
