They were used as Double road trains... I guess the vibration on the dirt roads may have been the reason

Checked original posting and it says that it looks like a Simon truck, but it is Glover Transport 1974 8v71T Kenworth.
Guess I shouldn't drink and type.

What do you think is in them boxes on the back ???? dont look like 1/2 ton spud bins

It's funny how sometimes I see things in photos that arent there, when I first glanced at this I though wonder what the go is with them 20 liter oil drums stacked on the roof of the truck are ??

Paul Them boxes on the back of the Glovers truck were full of glass ,ashtrays jars drinking glasses etc they used to load out of the ACI glass works in Burke rd near Zetland Glovers had the contact to cart them interstate as well as Bruce Panucci Tpt when i worked for Bruno . I may be wrong but will stand corrected :unsure:
