I believe that there was .... almost all the different models were available (in the US and probably here) as the L then they were upgraded to the R model

.When i first started at BM&G Prospect....
there was still a couple of L180s there as well as a couple of
L 160s that were used for maintaince purposes.........

great videos! now have another thing to do in my bucket list!

Drive the nullarbor in an old banger....

We crossed it this time last year on our half lap, the bride was terrified, turned out she thought it was still gravel :whistle:

My old dad drove it a couple of time on holidays, reconed there was nothing to see, Me, I loved every minute of it!

1418 Benz now really impressing the bride :-)
