First Kenworths "down under"

Whilst on the subject of old Kenworths- I wonder if anyone has ever seen this old girl?
I THINK it was a 1966 model, my father bought it in Tasmania many moons ago. It was a bit unusual as in it had the "tropical" grill, eg wide like a later W model.
It had a 1673B Cat in it, 4 x 4 Spicer gearboxes, and a massive set of dual range Eaton diffs on 6 rod.
As we were in to car carrying, dad pulled out the 4 x 4 Spcers and put in a roadranger, and fitted a single drive diff, and a sleeper cab.
We never actually got to use it, as we sold the business before she was registered.
I think it may have gone to QLD, but I'm not sure.
Like may things, it is one of those that "you really wish you still had"... a very cool truck!
Cheers
Rich

You might Laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same

Thats bloody great eh Werk? Thanks for that.
Funny, when Dad had it, we were like "Sniff.. Thats a weird looking W model. Looks all wrong. Sniff... ".
It had a little aluminium sticker thing on the dash with the driver saying to the passenger "Think you can do better? HERE" as he ripped off the steering wheel and passed it over....
Wonder where it ended up...
