Liquid Cartage Co.........had a few super beavers , but had the Page & Page 60/40
pusher axle set up .(they were in love with Page & Page I think , as they still fitted them to the
COE KWs even after it became Brambles Bulk Haulage)
Yeah the steering wheel was a bit large, but you still nearly lost sight of the road when
using the joey box lever, (the way these were set up any way,it was like picking up some thing
you had dropped on the floor).
The last one they bought was a Power Plus Super Beaver ( still with the Page & Page
pusher) . It was a totally different truck to drive, good gear stick positions,
POWER steering with a good positioned wheel ,In all . just a great truck to operate
BUT, you still had to be careful not to hang off the hand brake lever
when getting out in a hurry.

I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

I did not know the cops used FB/EK utes at one time but less than twelve months ago, I saw at least five unmarked current model Holdem or Fowlcan (can't tell the difference) utes in various parts of country Victoria. It must have been a trial run, as I did not see them after a couple of weeks.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
