That photo of the S model Bedstead, does it have extended skirts at the front, or has the cabin been jacked up?? Seems to me that the whole cab seems to have a lot more aggressive stance than standard?? Dave

Stock standard, if my memory serves correct. The 4WD bushfire trucks were even higher

Stock standard S model Bedford... The 4x4s were the R model... Exactly the same but with all the good gear for bush bashing ;)

Does anyone have any info of when Heggie's first started business? By the look of the old Leyland seems it was at least the 1920's. I also remember Heggie's having a yard over in Whyalla too, don't ever recall seeing a yard in Newcastle though.
