AEC Mandator

I was talking to a gent today who used to drive an AEC Mandator for Doug & Enid Prior of Heathmont, Melb. back in the 1960's. I saw a photo of it on facebook in Vintage trucks. I have managed to talk to Rex today & he is keen to see if anybody had photo's of any other Prior trucks. They had a B model Mack in Alltrans colours, a series 1 Atkinson, also in Alltrans colours, a Plastic cab Atkinson with a 671 which was White & a White coloured Kenworth working for Consolidated on frozen freight. When Rex left Prior's I started with them driving the Mandator hence the connection. The Mandator had Nancye Lorraine (Rex's wife's name)across the front panel. Any info would be gratefully received. i have a photo of an alltrans b model but i believe it was alltrans owned does he remember if his had a fleet number on it? I know alltrans had 6 of their own in 1962

...ol' mate angle iron can tell us a little bit about an old alltrans B models still alive and kicking (in a shed) and still in the alltrans livery

Werk, he was telling me that the B model Mack was originally one of Alltrans shuttle prime movers & that when the shuttle closed down Doug Prior bought it from Alltrans & a guy by the name of Ian Scott drove it. I'll see if he has any idea if it had a fleet number on it.
Seed, g'day mate, it was similar to that only it had a round tank ? running across the chassis under the sleeper from memory. Thank everybody for your input. Cheers Tim

...i believe it's in the peaches and cream colours...possibly not an original one that would have been in the battleship grey....cheers
