GW very excellent photos, gotta wonder who was tougher, the grossly overloaded truck or the poor buggers lumping 200 odd pounds on their shoulder...

Not, too many, or ANY overweight blokes in those days and they seemed to get by without hi visibility singlets ,plastic yellow chains ,witches hats , hard hats , steel capped boots , etc HOW DID THEY EVER SURVIVE ?
