Binder, I've got a story on Louisville's and Denmac coming up in the Heritage Hauler. That was the first Louisville sold in Australia, which made it the first right hand drive Louisville sold in the world. The truck was sold by Denmac to John Colburn, he took delivery of it straight after the Truck Show in 1976.

camlobe in 76 my uncle and a mate went down to hasting deering and ordered a 477 louie each
unc got a bogie drive with a tipper , my mate had the ar$e out of his duds so we got a good deal on a long wheel base single drive , I fitted a used Hendrickson aluminium
rubber block using a trailer axle and the original diff
and dick faulder who owned panther trailers fitted a used alloy bin
my uncles was legal with 12.8 ton mates was good for 15 ton
both trucks are long gone but my mate still has 3 ln700,s one bought at auction from ford with a 'custom build badge' for colin chapman who worked for ford for years moving ford components

Binder, there is an LNT 900 out at Prices, still got the 477 in it.

...the very early LN's had a reverse bonnet scoop on the LH side, and the first LNT 903's had the exhausts mounted up the back of the cab with their steel tanks and integral battery boxes....any pics of these very early ones??......

Can remember late 70s ? A old louie every arvo carrying cars going down mt Alexander moonee ponds way

Detective, the LN 700 and LN 7000 had the reverse scoop, narrower bonnet and front axle and a light chassis like an F series.
I've got an early louey with the steel tanks, the chimneys have been taken off it though.
You'll get plenty of pictures of them just Googling Ford Louisville Australia Images.
