Road Maintenance Tax

I drove for J N Nicholson in the mid 60's, one of our blokes took a new D6 to Foysters plant at Kingscliffe one day. I went down the following day and loaded it and took it to Lakeland Downs (near Cooktown), it was the first dozer that Clive Foyster bought to start clearing the scrub to grow grain, all legal, I had overweight and width permits (only had a bogie float 18 ton on both bogies) some very disappointed scalies on that trip.
