Old mate Ernie Warner on the right who I offsidered for, this was the perishable truck, we got Bogger Young with a crane out from Katherine and towed it back to Alice where it was sent to be rebuilt, had to lug all the perishables up to our truck first and take them into Darwin, hard yacka >

Bert Bond on the left, ran tours from Adelaide to Darwin in the 1930's, then in Alice after the war, very interesting fellow but not much written about him, pity.

Got bigger vehicles, he was a real pioneer of tourists in the NT, Len Tuit, Kurt Johannsen, Stan Cawood all drove for him at one time
