Wilf Haywood RIP

Have just heard on Facebook via Neil Haywood that Wilf Haywood passed away yesterday March 10 at 5 PM,peacefully.Another legend gone RIP Wilf .I only met him once or twice but has was a man one would not forget in a hurry. cheers Don

OldDon, thanks for sharing the news of Wilf's passing. I first met Wilf at Alice Springs in 2010 and found him to be a wealth of knowledge & he was only too happy to help out in any way that he could. I loved his photo's of the Bottle Co days, much history has sadly been lost. RIP Wilf & condolences to his family. Tim

.. i met Wilf only once ...at the 2012 Sandown Truck Show, and he was a lovely man... as sharp as a tack... he took the time to show us his past endeavours driving for the Manufacturers Bottle Company via all those lovely images and his very clear recollections......
