I received an email today saying Michael Kerrigan passed away last night. Our condolences go out to his family.
Further details regarding funeral arrangements etc will be posted here as they become available. I will do my best to find out but if someone has the information and it has not been posted here feel free to do so.

G/day every one,
I knew Micheal when he was driving Campbells Transport they used to carry glass from the bottle yards to the glass works in Newport that was 30 yrs ago.
I remember Seeing micheal later o n driving other trucks with his slippers on and if it was 100F in the water bag he would have his long pants and his long johns on too.
When you went to micheal's home it was wall to wall trucks and his real passion was Reo's and he was the editor for the Reo Club.
We members of the HCVCAust have lost a true gentleman and a real old time truckie :'( :'( .Dave Horne

Well i attend Michael James Kerrigan's funeral yesterday 8-4-08 held in Horsham Vic.
Micheal was 86 and died about 7weeks short of his 87th not a bad innings Micheal was laided to rest in a lovely little cemetery 40Ks south of Horsham called Brimpaen it was where his sister and nephew have farms and it is in the shaddow of the Grampians.
The funeral was attended by about 140 people and HCVC members of which there were about 30.
Micheal left the church riding on his "J" model Bedford and followed by a Reo Gold Comet , B Model Mack & 1948 Ford prime mover and 40 cars as we pulled on to the main drag i noticed a interstate truck held the traffic at a roundabout.
I spoke to the funeral director after and he said Micheal planed the way we were going to get there and seemed we went passed lot of wrecking yards etc .
Overall it went over real good.
Rest in peace old fella and we know you will have a collection of old girls up there too.
