HTAA Beenliegh & The Brisbane Truck Show

Went today in the mighty ASW. Had a go at the slow race.
Might have a chance here; 1st gear, low range, front axle in and handbrake on a bit to load the idle up. I knew I was beat as soon as I saw the Kaiser Wrecker I was up against....
Fun anyway.
Loads of Inters, which was great and caught up with a couple of people from here and elsewhere, too.
Took a heap of pics, but my camera stuffed up and they nearly all came out white..... >

Speaking of white, or rather White, I can see the lure of the GM. Nice unit, Cam.

Just laying in the sleeper after a great day big feed and plenty of liquids. Some great trucks here ,i think about 150 trucks some we haven't seen before ,looking foward to tomorrow.cant post any photos till later.

first; did anyone get any pics of the green Dodge out on the perimeter? Anyone who was there will know the one I mean. My camera just wouldn't play nice on Saturday.

Also does anyone know who owns the white (?) cab-over White with the broken door handles? I'm sure I can find a pair here for him (of the later, cast type, but they should go straight on and most people won't notice the difference). Free, of course.

First outing for the Commer

Hi Mate, I've got some pictures I think, the one with the chev in it? I don't know what front end and maybe a Hilux steering box?
The cab over White belongs to a mate of mine, he wants to sell it.

With the Chev, I think that was on a Holden one-tonner or Hilux chassis. (AB120 4x4 body, that the one you mean, near your trucks?)
The one I mean was a 5 or 600 Dodge in this really nice shade of green, way over the other side against the fence. I dunno, the colour just got me. Curse the camera........
Your mate can have a pair of door handles if he wants them.
I was going to see if I could go on the HTAA combined run next week(?) I could have them there and was going to join up while I'm at it. (if visitors are allowed on a run?)
