Hi Everyone, here is some"early rushes'' as the movie people say from Haulin' the Hume at the lunch stop at Goulburn. My son Blake and I decided to tag along on the run. We started at Clarendon and followed the entrants as far as the lunch stop at Goulburn. There was heaps of people on the sides of the road most armed with cameras and all waving at the entrants as they roared by. It must have been very exciting for the entrants, seeing the very obvious support for these these old bangers and great pieces of Aussie road transport history still going strong. Sorry about my average photographic ability but I hope these will give you some idea of the the big turnout and atmosphere at Goulburn,
Regards Harleigh

That's my '' Loving Son'' being nice to me Werk, I always reckon those slimline KW's look like you have to drive them standing up, though I have been told there is more room than it looks in there.

Sat on the side of the road in the cullerins to watch, it was a great parade and with the weather turning on a still pleasant scene, you could here the trucks coming through the range...on and off the jakes...through the gears...rumbling again through a now mostly quiet, retired section of the old hume....nostalgic and memorable stuff, and great to see so many of all ages out to watch.
Cheers Dave
