Merv Brunts 29th March 2015

Sunday the 29th of March at 11am we are going to meet at Merv's to show our appreciation on him opening his museum to the public $10 entry and we will have a BBQ for lunch.
Let's see how many trucks we can get to turn up.

Hope you have a great day. Last time we holidayed in Vic. we made the effort and contacted Merv. He was happy to open up just for us. What a great collection and a great man to talk to. I even think he enjoyed our visit as much as I enjoyed his stories and collection. He was talking about the opening of his collection to the public and am glad it has happened.

Trev, at this stage you can count myself and Sam and our truck in. We were done there a few weeks ago and had a great time with Merv as the previous post said he enjoyed it as much as we did so all being well we'll be there.

Jon couldn't agree more Merv is a fantastic bloke and always prepared to go out of his way to help others.

Thanks Clive & Sam will be great to catch up again. Will give Merv a treat to see some trucks down to support his efforts.

Anyone know how much road works are happening along the Geelong to Winch section of the highway just if its a bit we might head a different way.

Trev, the road isn't real bad. there are a few spots where it slows to 60 kms but they are only for a short distance. Being a Sunday the tourists are probably a bigger concern.

Going to meet at the BP on the Geelong Bypass and looking at timing will need to leave around 9.30-9.45 and that should get us to Merv's around 10.45

I agree was there the weekend of the heritage festival had a good chinwag with Merv and a sit and look around his collection

Are you going to be driving the 27 or transporting ???
