Merv Brunts 29th March 2015

Dave the 27 will be there not sure yet if it will arrive on it's own wheels or on the wheels of my Historic (25 year old) tilt tray.

So far the response has been good with quite a few going to travel down in cars.

BBQ lunch and cold drinks will be available.

All going well would love to take the SAR for a burn, and if i've glanced at the signs correctly the HWY between Geelong and Winch will be DUAL LANE most of the way (back to single lane about 4K short of Winch, judging by the cross over before the un sealed part) as of the 24th or 25th of this month so should be an easy trip down.

If anyone else can make it remember we are going to join up at the BP on the Geelong bypass and leave there around 9.30-9.45 this will depend on the slowest truck that turns up as we will try and stick together as we travel to Merv's.

Still more people contacting me regarding this so should have a good turn out weather is looking like being a nice day for a drive.

Just got off the phone with Merv and everything is organised he has had a few people from rotary come around and make sure the bar-b-que was all cleaned and the bottle full ready for Sunday.

He is really looking forward to seeing some of the trucks we bring along.

Have had a couple of people ask where about in Colac its in Clark Street in between the showgrounds and the railway line best way is over the bridge turn left at the bottom and then hard left again and that takes you back under the bridge.

Hi my name is Fill I am doing up a Bedford ( yes I am happy ).
I was thinking of going, to Mer Brunts,as it sounds great-
866 veiws when I looked.So I think a fair number are going.

Not sure who is coming from that side of town hopefully someone has rung you with a spare seat otherwise we are meeting at the BP on the Geelong ByPass at Corio and will be leaving there around 9.30-9.45am to enable us to be at Merv's around 11am.
We will have a BBQ and drinks around 12.30 then around 1.30-2.00 we had planned a quite run thru Colac out yo the West of town and back to Merv's where the day will conclude.

Hope to see as many as possible there tomorrow.
