I'll second that- Bloody well done to all the other people who put so much work in. Just a top event, great company, and a lot of laughs. And as jimmy said, the meal was absolutely brilliant- matter of fact, everyone I spoke to said the same thing.
It's great to see events like this, with so many people just enjoying their trucks, no matter what the type, make or model. Next year (Haulin??) I want to make more of an effort to actually put a face to some names! And have a beer or two with people I missed this year.
A credit to you all, old truck people! Thanks very much, we really appreciate your efforts.
Cheers!
Richard

This KB5 was put btogether over the last couple of year by a mate of mine , made up out of a couple of trucks,
Asked where he had tested it, up the dirt road in front of the house a couple of times, so on Tuesday or Wednesday he took it for a run to Dookie and back, which wasn't far , all good so Friday headed to Melbourne and set off on Crawling of the Hume, Pulled out at Winton and headed home. Top effort.
Had to borrow a photo off Daniel Thorton as the one I took of it wasn't any good
Now I borrowed another of Daniels photo as I think Swishy has a passenger ,

great photo's fella's, I got to meat a few names around here, heaps I didn't though! now ive said g'day to a heap of fella's I didn't know their names until ive seen these photos
If I didn't chew your ear off, Ill apologize now. If I did, same goes
My co driver and I were discussing the event on the long run home (we were last to leave the racecourse)
and again today on the phone, What a fantastic couple of days we had, surrounded by people from all era's, with different budgets, and from different parts of the country.
We both agree that we didn't see a truck we wouldn't have in our shed, they all had something going for them.
The noise , the look, the attitude or even the occupants
We had a great time, and will be more involved now we have had the taste :woohoo:
