Following the Crawlin the Hume, just keep heading north. Maitland Steam Fest is on same weekend as Crawlin.

The weekend before Anzac day is rushing up fast and so we are looking forward to our event.
For those looking at joining a convoy Alan Doherty and gang are heading north from Wollongong on Friday to catch the reception at Black Mountain Roadhouse mid afternoon. Somehow Jimmy Hills B61 Mack got caught in the mix and will be running with them.
As usual all exhibitors will get a souvenir sticker, but wait there's more. we are handing out stubbie holders (seeing as the bar will be open) and a a few gifts as fun prizes. Roast dinner this time. Those that pre-register not only get a mention in the program but are eligible for free recovery service by our sponsors as far south as Willow Tree.

Replied by Lang on topic 2018 Climbing the New England
Well, Climbing the New England is over and I think Steve and his team should be pleased with the result.

A large number of entrants from far afield and a very good variety from WW1 to modern. The organisation was smooth and the dinner first class.

Well done Steve.

Thanks for the compliments Lang, I will pass them onto our members. The switch to autumn has proven to be the right decision as well. Next one is 2020.
