Does anyone know when Clarendon NSW is on please?

Was scheduled for usual date in September and cancelled. Not much happening now until the big one for old trucks & machinery would be the Allora heritage weekend on 22 23 Jan.

At this stage Allora is all go all you Southerners are more than welcome looks as though we’ll be back as part of Australia as of the 17th December but who knows for how long

Yes the Clarendon unfortunately was cancelled a little o ver a month ago about the same time as our Rusty Iron Rally was. Then in a magazine the Oily Rag it listed the Cranky Handle Rally at Richmondvale near Cessnock was still going ahead on the 2nd or 3rd weekend of this month which excited both Dee and I so I rang the contact and he said that it too was cancelled. Not much going to happen here in NSW this year and as mentioned Allora is a go ahead and going by the pics I have seen of it and listening to some of the guys that attemd each year it is a ripper of an event. A shame we can't attend this year leading up to our Christmas rush for the last time as retirement in January for both of us will then free us up for more play time and more "Rallies and events will be back in full swing. Something to keep an eye out for is the Yesteryear truck show at Wauchope. It has been getting bigger each year up until that covid problem and in the past has been a Winter time Rally and big on trucks.

Climbing the New England at Glen Innes was cancelled for 2020 and never got a start this year. We are currently looking at combining with the mineral and gem festival 'Minerama" in mid March for a quieter resumption of the rally scene. Not a bad idea as there will be something for the girls to look at.
