I remember seeing a Seattle or S ,In trucking life , some guy in a Victorian town wrecked it by putting a (wait for it) a 8V53 or 12V53 Detroit in it
It looked good but I cannot imagine why do that to something so scarce , should have done it to a SAR there’s plenty of them to choose from, just saying...

That 12v repowered one was quite well known in Vic. reckon it may have even had a piece or two written up on here

There were 4 S Models in Australia with 27 inch corporate sleepers from factory . 3 were in Western Australia . Our chassis 103040 has one from factory . If you visit Kenworth S Model Kenworth on FB you will see it.
