Old Station Fly In Raglan

What a fantastic weekend.
Didn’t see you there Ian, but there was an estimated 12000+ visitors. Caravan city. 
Will be interesting to read the final count. 
My pick was the P51. Unique sound. 
Best/loudest noise had to be the Trojan. We were camped right on the strip verge.
The flyers of the stunt aeroplanes were absolutely incredible.
On the road this morning, already missing the cannon wake up call.




 

Please put up some pics. Raglan is a long way from home and I cannot fly. (My Father could, he learned in the Airforce but he is no longer with us)

T-28B Trojan was a crowd pleaser.  Big old R2800 P&W sounded fantastic. 
Early morning starts and gear up all the way down the strip to get everyone out of bed.
