Other than podge JBlair and myself who else is planning to go on the Maroondah Dam Trip. All going well it will be a nice hit-out for my Inter as so far the longest run in the last 12 months has been to the Domain Gardens. It will be nice to get it out again - It won't have the winch on it so won't be going to Goldsmith as it will be too hard to get the stationary engines up that high without one - It seems like an XP with trailer trip to me.

Maroodah dam is for any member, friends or family of our club. The rotunda is booked for the day and all you have to do is bring you food. With BBQ's provide or grab food in Healsville and come up for lunch and join in for a family day out, Bring the kids, grand kids or borrow the neighbours. We can go to the rail station and go for a trolley ride through the tunnel. You can bring your truck, car or bike. For the healthy ones you can walk around and see the dam or walk around the park. The club has already paid for the rotunda so the more the merrier. The club trailer will be in atendance so you can buy any merchandise and maybe we can get some new members.

A couple of rumors
1) Is the ex-Prez's ford scared of the rain and the grandkids were an excuse?
2) Is deadly also scared he will shrink in the rain. I could understand if the Garden Gnome is worried. Really we love you deadly

G'day folks.
This is just a short note to say thanks to Stephen and Annette for organising the trip to Maroondah Dam and Healesville Railway and also thanks to those who attended for helping make the day enjoyable.I am sure a great day was had by all and I think more family type days like this would benefit the club.
PS Kookaburras can break skin and cause bruising and it WAS NOT my fault the train stopped.
