Good turn up, didnt know who I was looking for (except a man in a thong) but ran into Mammoth at a Subways in Toowoomba heading towards Dalby!!!!! Just as well 'cause he had some Beddy doors for me
Despite all the talk there was only two or three Bedfords there in the morning...Ok yes a K model...but hell how many B61's were made? Its like the Ford A of Hot Rodding or Harley Davidson of Motorcycles! Must say though they are a beautiful truck.
I WAS going to take photos to put up but the flies were outnumbered by happy snappers and a few very demanding "Prographers"...made it hard to have a good look at some trucks.....Hopefully some one got some to put up.
All in all a good morning WELL worth the measley 2 bux!

We got there about lunch time, had a little diversion on the way there. It was a great show, a very good venue, the dinner was great. Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to hear about that......here's the pictures. I reckon Monty may have a couple to add as well, he was walking around all day taking pictures. Didn't quite make the bar, had the refreshments laid on at the truck. They all most had one more "Mack" as well, old mate on the gate was about to put me in with the rest of the riff raff untill my off sider pionted out we where in a White.

Just splitting them up a bit. Had a lot of blokes from the south make the effort, good to see.

And now for the little diversion....Lang had a little bit of trouble on the way up, the centre bearing siezed/flew to bits/carked it, sheared the slip jiont on the tail shaft and it all came to bit of a halt. By the time we turned up with some spanners he was in Gatton teeing up Darren to come out with the float, so we whipped the tail shafts off (Lang, the old girl to do with a pressure wash under there mate) and got ready to tow it around the corner and away from the traffic so we could push the mighty Volvo on to the float. Lang prepared himself for the massive increase in power,niose, and off we went. Try as I might I couldn't get a rise out of Mammoth, re White's towing Volvo's, ah well.





SteveJR, you may notice that Darren is wearing the same brand of footwear as myself, so I was merely surcombing to peer group pressure.

Sorry I missed you Beaver, mind there was that many people there that I didn't see or talk to. I really enjoyed the Saturday, had to have a little nanny nap when I got home today, I might have to start using those earplugs as well, the ears are still ringing a bit.

We took a little video in the Reo on the way up. I've been meaning to do it for ages after watching Knighty's.
