Colac Mack Muster 2012

Does anyone know if the Colac muster is on again in 2012

I dont think it's happening this year as one of the main movers for the show is not involed with Mack trucks anymore . Dave

Sure would love to know what's happening as i was planning to take my dog to it's first muster. I'm sure we can find enough dog's down south to beat the QLD show's record. maybe we can get on here and show some support for the organiser's. I know of 3 that would go if it's on. what say you's?

this forum would be a great place to start one and given enough time and planning you may have the beginnings of a nice event on the calender.

i put two S model kenworth display days (musters) on in 2005 and 2007 which greg melmoth has championed ever since.. and it's not hard to do...of course you've got to hope people bring their truck along!! i did it by making a heap of phone calls to interested parties, whereas greg has been doing it mostly by email.

maybe give it some thought with a few buddies...cheers

Re the Mack muster 2012, due to many things that are going in on my personal life,location issues and a lack off willingnes from some off the crew which put together the first muster, I have deciced to postpone it to2013 which by then I can devot 100% to it with out distraction, Dave I'm still envolved with Mack,detective it takes a lot for 1 man to put on event of this nature and 1 needs to be 100% committed to it ,at this point I can not give that commitment,the first was a success , the second one needs to be better,Mack knows of my descieon and will support the muster no matter what

g'day discomack i wish the very best of luck for the 2013 event. a two yearly event is not a bad idea all the same.

i must admit, the events i put on were a low key, informal and therefore very relaxed kind of get together which still managed to attract a lot of trucks and people

i don't know if an impromptu event, such as those, would work when regarding the wider community and the attendant base requirements of amenities, food, etc.

a ''corey worthington'' gutter party is more what i had in mind...word spread by a few people and a snowball effect if it all goes off well.
