Thanks Pat, Angle and Trevor for your comments. If you look closely at the second photo of him you'll see his eyes and I think they explain just how he's feeling. Rob and Roger asked me to speak on Saturday night and somewhere in my nerve-racked fumbled speech, I spoke about how the Hume run last year affected me, saying that I think that I had experienced every emotion a man could feel over that two days.

Bob is one of many who are honoured by what we all are doing. It took me a while to realise just what a massive impact we are having on their later years. Rob and Roger need to be recognised for following through and organising this brilliant event, the people who selflessly volunteered need a pat on the back for making it come together and the rest of us can smile for playing our part in preserving history :).

Congrats to everyone who attended 8-)

Some play hard to get

Photos have started popping up on Facebook, so we've created an unofficial "group" for all to share/view photos and videos taken from the crawl. There are a couple of short videos taken from the start line that have been posted already, and some photos taken from spectators mobile phones etc.

If anyone would like to be an administrator of the group, or would like copies of any of the photos in their original size please send a message. (photos added to Facebook are compressed) If you have a Facebook account you can view or join the group at the following link.

Thank you to the organisers of Crawlin' the Hume for organising such a fantastic event, and for making us feel welcome.

TRULY BLOODY AWESOME PICS

All you guys are legends. I have been following the threads since Chocs' had 30 sleeps to go.

Give all of yourselves a bloody great pat on the back.

Maybe Lee Kernighan should write a song or two about "Haulin' and Crawlin' the Hume.
