100 years of IH Australia - June 24

just looked thru the lastest International mag and not a word about it arnt they intrested . dave

Maybe they are waiting till the 200th! Were given the info at lake Goldsmith so they do know about it.

The IH Club seem to be focussed on their 10th Birthday Celebrations with a 2 day event next March. The chose the long weekend so it will clash with Clunes, MSTEC and everything else.

They don't seem to look at other regular events their members enjoy going to when setting dates for their own club events. It is their right to do so but it makes life difficult for their members

Just rang their President, he will mention it at the meeting this Friday and hopefully we will get some starters.

Even if they dont come to Melb Steam Club it would be good to know that they celabrated the event in some way and as they are the INTERNATIONAL Club it is a big thing in there year . Dave

Well its is going ahead with or without the IH club. Hopefully the weather is good and the earthmoving area at Melbourne Steam will be available to operate machines.
If you are bringing a truck or other IH machine for display on the day please include a small sign with details relating to it.

Will try and be there but will fall short on having truck ready by then.

Bruce, I'm pretty sure (certain in fact) that It's the 100th Year of IH AUSTRALIA

IHC of America was actually formed in 1902.
